Reading Challenges

I have not yet signed up for any reading challenges in 2012. Last year I participated in two reading challenges for 2011, both of them involving historical fiction. Here’s how I did:

Challenge Number 1

30. The Course of Honor, by Lindsey Davis

Challenge Number 2

The second challenge I entered in 2011 was the Chivalrous Deeds Historical Fiction Challenge, hosted by Holly at Bippity Boppity Book. The goal of this challenge was to visit as many kingly courts in your historical fiction reading as possible. Because the Historical Tapestry challenge allows you to overlap your entries with other challenges, the reviews I entered in Chivalrous Deeds are the same as some of the reviews for the previous challenge.

1. The Greatest Knight, by Elizabeth Chadwick

2. The Other Boleyn Girl, by Philippa Gregory

3. The Virgin Widow, by Anne O’Brien

4. The Scarlet Lion, by Elizabeth Chadwick
